Space Cardboard Roll Telescope Craft

 
This telescope craft is simple and easy to make.
 
 
Materials:
 
  • paper towel roll or Saran Wrap roll
  • blue tissue paper
  • Saran Wrap
  • little blue star spangles or stickers
  • rubber band
  • paint
 
Directions:
 
  1. Paint your Saran Wrtap roll and allow to dry.
  2. Cut a small square of blue tissue paper and wrap around thye end of the cardboard tube.
  3. Glue little stars onto the tissue paper.
  4. Wrap a pieve of plastic wrap around the end of the tube over the tissue paper and secure with a rubber band.
  5. Decorate the shaft of the telescope with stars and moons if you like.
  6. Look through the telescope at a light source and see the stars.

Materials:

  • multi-colored construction paper
  • card stock
  • glue
  • scissors


Directions:

  1. Cut three triangles from green, a rectangle from brown, and a pot from red construction psper
  2. Glue the pieces onto a piece of white paper.
  3. Add decorations or stickers to decorate your Christmas tree.

Easy Christmas Stocking Paper Craft



This very easy Christmas stocking craft is perfect for preschool students or toddlers.

Materials:

  • red construction paper
  • scissors
  • cotton balls
  • glitter glue
  • pom poms

Directions:

  1. Trace and cut out a large stocking shape from red construction paper.
  2. Decorate with glitter glue and pom poms.
  3. Glue cotton along the top or trim.

 

Winter Snow Cloud Mobile Craft


For a winter or weather theme, you can make this simple snow cloud craft.

Materials:

  • blue construction paper
  • white paper
  • yarn or string
  • glue
  • tape
  • scissors
  • cotton balls or batting

Directions:
  1. Trace and cut out a cloud shape from blue paper.
  2. Cut three squares about 5 inch from white paper.
  3. Fold the white papers and cut at random points to make original snowflakes.
  4. Tape snowflakes to lengths of string and then tape to the back of the cloud.
  5. Glue cotton balls to the front of the cloud.
  6. Hang up on the wall, window, or ceiling as a mobile.

Thanksgiving Day Toilet Roll Turkey


Here's a cute toilet roll turkey you can make for Thanksgiving Day.

Materials:

  • 2 toilet paper rolls
  • brown, yellow and red construction paper
  • black and white scrap paper
  • glue
  • scissors
  • Tape
  • pencil

Directions:

  1. Cut one toilet roll in half.
  2. Wrap the full and half toilet rolls in brown paper.
  3. Trace child's hands on yellow paper and cut out.
  4. Cut triangular beak and simple feet from yellow paper.
  5. Cut out a red waddle.
  6. Cut out white circles for eyes and tiny black ones for pupils.
  7. Tape the half toilet roll on top of the big one to make the head.
  8. Glue on the hand prints to the back for tail feathers.
  9. Glue on the feet and face parts. Allow to dry.
