St. Patrick's Day Headband Craft

Here's a simple St. Patrick's Day craft kids can wear.

Materials:

• Thick white or green paper for headband
• 2 green construction paper shamrocks
• 2 green drinking straws
• tape
• scissors

Directions:

1. Cut strips of paper about 2 inches wide and long enough to fit around the child's head. Make headbands for all students.
2. Trace and cut out green paper shamrocks
3. Students tape shamrocks to the top of two green drinking staws.
4. Tape the bottom of the straws to the inside of the headands.
5. Let students decorate heir headbands. Preferably green St. Patrick's Day theme designs, stamps, or stickers.
6. Have them play leprechaun with their headbands.
