Summer Beach Paper Weight Craft

Here's an easy paper weight that's good after a trip to the beach and makes a great Father's Day gift, too.

Materials:

• jar lid(deeper is better)
• sand
• glue
• beach decorations, shells, beads, small pieces of driftwood, seaweed, etc.

Directions:

1. Put down a layer of sand inside to cover the bottom of the lid.
2. Arrange decorations like shells, beads, etc.
3. Pour white glue over everything.
4. Let dry. It may take a few days, the glue will turn clear and you'll have a nice paper weight.

Variations:

For a snow theme, mix the sand with white paint and put a little eraser or toy snowman, reindeer, etc.
