Earth Day Pig Recycled Can Craft

This is a really cute pig craft made from a recycled drink can. Perfect for an Earth Day craft to teach kids about recycling.

Materials:

• aluminum drink can
• spray paint
• paints
• Q-tips
• felt
• scissors
• felt templates(from site below)

Directions:

1. Crush an aluminum can like the one shown.
2. Spray paint the can with pink or cream, let dry. Apply a second coat.
3. Remove the cotton from one end of a Q-tip. Dip into paint and make little flower patterns.
4. Print out templates and cut felt pieces for the ears, tail, nose, and legs.
5. Glue on all the felt pieces and add google eyes to the front. Add 2 dots for nostrils, eyelashes, and ribbon.
