Old King Cole Crown Craft

Here's a simple crown craft my daughter made when learning the famous nursery rhyme Old King Cole.

Materials:

• construction paper
• scissors
• pencil
• glue
• stapler
• tape

Directions:

1. Staple 2 sheets of yellow construction paper end to end. Cover the staples inside and outside with tape for safety.
2. Fold the Sheets together and draw triangles on one side.
3. Cut out the triangles to make the points of the crown.
4. Glue diamond shapes from paper or cellophane along the length.
5. Check the child's head size and staple closed to make the crown.
