This is a simple an cute dinosaur craft I did using a paper bowl as the base. The inspiration comes from a similar paper bowl turtle craft.
Materials:
Directions:
I originally envisioned using sunflower seeds down the back instead of paper triangles. I also thought of using acorn top all over the back for armour. Let your imagination go.
Materials:
- paper bowl
- brown paint
- orange and brown construction paper
- white glue
- 1 acorn
- tape
- scissors
Directions:
- Beforehand, paint the bottom of a paper bowl completely brown. Allow to dry.
- From orange construction paper, cut lots of little triangles for ankylosaurus' spikes. Also cut a head, a triangle with 2 more small triangles sticking out on the sides to make 4 little horns for the face.
- From brown construction paper, cut a long, triangular shaped tail with an oval shape at the end for a club. Also cut out 4 simple, elephant like feet. Don't forget to draw little toes.
- Tape the fet and tail to the inside of the paper bowl, so they stick out the sides.
- Glue the little triangles in three rows going down the back and also sticking out along the rim on both sides.
- Draw a face on the head and glue to the front.
- Use white glue to attach an acorn to the oval club tail for a 3D touch.

The project is enhanced by using a paper bowl as the base and painting it brown ahead of time creates a good dinosaur’s body. By making spikes and head from orange construction paper, and using tail and feet made from brown paper, I gave this ankylosaurus vibrant colors that contrast with each other.
ReplyDeleteJust like in any vibrant city such as New York, where creativity has no limits; some moments should be spent on imaginative things like this one. This reminds me that there are infinite chances to perform art even if you live in a big city. For instance, such craft projects as nyc towing are perfect ways of putting that artistic energy into good use during emergencies.
