Funny Melted Snowman Christmas Craft

Popsicle Sticks Snowman Christmas Craft


Here's another great Christmas snowman craft idea from Those Northern Skies. Use Popsicle sticks and paint to make a cute snowman.

Materials:

  • Popsicle sticks/craft sticks
  • cardboard or cereal box
  • black and white paint
  • google eyes
  • black button
  • plastic flower
  • glue
  • red crayon or felt pen

Directions:

  1. Line up 6 Popsicle sticks side by side. Cut a piece of cardboard to fit on the back, but won't bee seen.
  2. Glue the cardboard to the back of the Popsicle sticks to hold them in place. Let dry
  3. Flip over. Take another Popsicle stick and mark a diagonal line with a pencil about 1/3 from the top. This will be the painting line.
  4. Paint the top part black. Also paint another craft stick black. Let dry and paint the bottom white. You might want to use a piece of cardboard to cover the other part as you paint.
  5. Glue the other black Popsicle stick along the line to make the brim of the hat.
  6. Glue on google eyes and a button nose and draw a mouth
  7. Glue on a flower for the hat.

Pine Cone, Cotton Christmas Snowman Craft


This pine cone and cotton Christmas snowman craft from Those Northern Skies is so adorable. It's simple, too.

Materials:

  • large open pine cone
  • cotton batting
  • 3 buttons
  • scrap fabric
  • glue

Directions:

  1. Put some glue on the pine cone.
  2. Gently stretch out the cotton batting and tightly wrap up your pine cone.
  3. Make a big cotton ball and glue o top for the head.
  4. Glue on buttons for eyes and nose.
  5. Tie a piece of fabric around for the scarf.

Christmas Paper Plate Snowman Face Craft


This is such a great looking paper plate snowman face craft. This is a great Christmas preschool craft.

Materials:
  • paper plate
  • construction paper or craft foam
  • sparkly ribbon
  • craft foam snowflake
  • google eyes
  • black dot stickers
  • glue

Directions:

  1. Cut out a top hat from construction paper or craft foam.
  2. Tie a sparkly ribbon around the hat and add a foam snowflake.
  3. Glue the hat on the back of a paper plate.
  4. Add a dot sticker mouth, google eyes, and a paper carrot nose.
  5. Bonus- Make a body to go along with your snowman.

Christmas Snowman Ornament Craft

This is a really cute Christmas snowman ornament craft you can hang on the tree.

Materials:

  • 3 round objects in large, medium, and small(various lids are good)
  • white and orange craft foam
  • glue dots or glue
  • monofilament, string, or fishing line
  • scissors
  • black marker
  • festive ribbon
  • buttons

Directions:

  1. Trace and cut out 2 sets each of 3 different size circles, giving you a total of 6 circles.
  2. Lay one set down on a flat surface about 1/4 in apart and glue a length of monofilament or fishing line down the middle. Glue the other matching circles on top.
  3. Draw eyes and a mouth on the head.
  4. Cut out an orange carrot nose from craft foam and glue on the face.
  5. Glue buttons on the body.
  6. Tie a ribbon between the head and body for a scarf.
  7. Tie the top in a loop and hang on the tree.
