Christmas Pasta Tree Ornament Craft

The genesis of this craft came from the fact that we had cut out the center of a lot of paper plates to make a Christmas wreath craft and we had a lot of left over circles. It's a simple and cute ornament to put on the tree. Long beforehand we had painted the Christmas pasta in various colors and let dry. It's a good idea to keep a stock of painted pasta on hand for just such an occasion.

Materials:

  • Christmas pasta painted in various colors
  • circle cut from card stock or the center of a small paper plate
  • green paint
  • glitter glue
  • hole punch
  • glue
  • yarn

Directions:

  1. Punch a hole in the card stock circles beforehand.
  2. Paint the circles green.
  3. Glue on several pieces of Christmas pasta.
  4. Cover in glitter glue. Allow to dry.
  5. Tie a short piece of yarn through the hole to hang up.
