St. Patrick's Day Wreath #2 Craft

This is a simple St. Patrick's Day Wreath idea using shamrocks and gold coins or a pot of gold.

Materials:

  • green and yellow construction paper
  • pencil
  • shamrock template
  • glue

Directions:
  1. Cut a lot of shamrocks from green construction paper, it would be pretty if you used two shades of green. It's easier if you trace half a shamrock on a fold and cut out to make a symmetrical shape.
  2. Glue the shamrocks together in a wreath shape.
  3. Cut Gold coins from yellow construction paper and glue on.

Alternatives:
  1. You could cut the center out of a paper plate and use the rim as a background to make the wreath stronger.
  2. Carefully remove the foil from some chocolate coins and use them instead.
  3. Make a little pot of gold and glue that on.
