Stegosaurus Hand Print Craft

I really liked this idea to make a stegosaurus and using hand prints to make the dorsal plates.

Materials:

• Drawing paper
• paint
• scissors
• pencil
• glue
• google eye

Directions:

1. Take a large piece of drawing paper and draw a simple stegosaurus body without plates.
2. Trace several hand prints.
3. Cut out dinosaur and hand prints. Paint with the color of your choice and allow to dry.
4. Glue the pieces onto another large sheet of paper.
5. Add a google eye.

I think it would be good to use different colors for the body and plates, too. It creates more contrast and more of an impression.  Go here for the original craft and website.
