Toilet Roll Wind Sock Craft 1

This is a cute wind sock craft you can make from a toilet paper roll.

Materials:

  • toilet paper roll
  • decorating materials, paper, markers, etc.
  • hole punch
  • yarn

Directions:

  1. Decide on a theme or pattern and decorate your toilet paper roll.
  2. Punch holes every 1.5 inches or so all the way around the bottom.
  3. For each hole, cut a 2 foot length of yarn. Fold in half and tie through so 2 ends hang down from each hole.
  4. Punch 2 holes at the top opposite each other.
  5. Tie another piece of yarn and hang up outside in the wind.

  1. I like your simple craft ideas. The simpler they are the easier they are for a preschooler. With little help from an adult their own ideas can go a long way. Very creative!
