Father's Day Dinosaur "Daddy-o-saurus" Craft

Here's a unique Father's Day Dinosaur craft idea. D is for Daddy and Dinosaur, so put them together and you get Daddy-o-saurus. It's a simple sauropod dinosaur craft using the letter, "D". It's a great companion craft with the book, "Dad's Dinosaur Day", by Diane Dawson Hearn.

Materials:

  • white paper
  • construction paper
  • paints or crayons
  • pencil
  • scissors
  • glue
  • google eye

Directions:

  1. Color all over the white paper in rainbow colors with paints or crayons.
  2. Turn the paper over and trace a large "D" and other body part pieces; legs, neck, tail, head, spines, etc.
  3. Cut out all the pieces.
  4. Assemble and glue the pieces onto a sheet of construction paper.
  5. Add a google eye.
  6. Write a Father's Day message, "Daddy-o-saurus", or, "Dad is Dino-mite".
