Mother's Day Coupon Book Craft

This is a fun and very helpful  gift for Mother's Day any mom will love. Make a coupon book redeemable for chores like washing the dishes, folding the laundry, carrying groceries, or a back rub. There are fancy coupon templates from sites like Kaboose, but I think the home made variety are better and more special.

Materials:

  • construction paper
  • scissors
  • crayons
  • hole punch
  • 1 or 2 brass fasteners

Directions:
  1. Cut several big squares or rectangles from various colored construction paper all the same size.
  2. Write different chores on each paper, maybe with a picture. Don't forget to make a cover page and write "Coupon Book for Mom" or the like. Decorate with hearts or stickers if you like.
  3. Punch holes through all the pages.
  4. Assemble the book with a brass fastener or metal ring.
  5. Mommy tears out one coupon redeemable for a chore.
  6. Make new coupons when they run out. Keep it going all year. Mom will really love that!
