This is a really great Thanksgiving turkey craft idea. It's made from a paper plate and stands up, too!

Materials:
- paper plate
- pencil
- ruler
- scissors
- crayons or markers
- google eyes
Directions:
- Fold a paper plate in a little less than half.
- From the fold of the smaller half, draw a simple bowling pin shaped turkey body and head.
- Carefully cut out the turkey, leaving it attached at the fold.
- Use a ruler to mark off sections for the tail feathers on the big side.
- Color the tail feather sections.
- Fold up and color the turkey body.
- Add google eyes.
- Fold so the smaller half where you cut out the turkey is flat on the table. The tail feathers and turkey stand up and give a 3D effect.
