This is a paper plate color mixing snail craft. The main purpose is to teach mixing colors and then turn it into a snail. Also fun for a bugs lesson.Materials:
- paper plate
 - red, blue, and yellow primary colors finger paint
 - scissors
 - tape
 - marker
 - google eyes(optional)
 - pipe cleaner
 
Directions:
- For each child put a dab of 2 primary colors on the paper plate to mix; yellow and blue make green, yellow and red make orange, red and blue make purple. Let each child decide.
 - Mix colors with their fingers, fun! Allow to dry.
 - Take scissors and starting from the edge, cut the plate into a spiral.
 - Add eyes and mouth with markers or older kids can put google eyes.
 - Curl the ends of a pipe cleaner and tape to the head.
