Peach Boy Craft

In Japan, there is a famous folktale, Momotaro or Peach Boy about a little boy who was born out of a peach. Here is a simple craft to illustrate the story.

Materials:

  • baby and peach template
  • construction paper
  • scissors
  • crayons
  • glue

Directions:

  1. Find a simple baby and peach template from a coloring page online. Enlarge the peach as shown.
  2. Have students color the peach and baby and then glue onto a sheet of construction paper.
  3. For a more dramatic look, cut the peach open along the middle line so it looks like Momotaro is popping out of the peach.
