This is such a fabulous idea! This is not so much a craft, but a fantasy activity parents or teachers can do with their kids. Kids get a bag of magic jelly beans that they have to plant and later grow into something extraordinary.
It reminds me of another fantasy activity some parents did with their kids' toy dinosaurs. Everyday the kids woke u to find their dinosaurs had created mischief in a different part of the house. These kinds of activities keep children's sense of wonder alive in this video game culture.
