Valentin's Day Bird House Card Box Craft

Tired of just decorating a paper lunch bag to collect all your Valentine's Day cards? Here's great craft idea for a Valentine's Day card box that will set you apart from the crowd.

Valentine's Bird House

Materials:
  • old box
  • scissors
  • box cutter
  • red, and pink paper
  • brown paint, brushes
  • glue
  • heart template
  • dove template on white paper
  • ribbon

Directions:
  1. Cut out many small hearts from pink paper.
  2. Cut the top of an old box to make a bird house shape.
  3. Cut a hole in the front for kids to put in their Valentines.
  4. Paint the whole box brown and allow to dry.
  5. Fold a piece of red construction paper in half and glue on pink hearts to make the roof.
  6. Glue one flap of the roof to the house. Leave the other flap unglued to remove the cards.
  7. Cut out a little border to go over the hole and glue on.
  8. Glue on a dove and a little ribbon.
