Easy Fish Sun Catcher Craft

Here's an easy fish sun catcher craft you can make from a sheet of contact paper and construction paper.

Materials:

  • sheet of construction paper
  • contact paper
  • decorating materials, felt pieces, bangles, google eyes, etc.
  • scissors

Directions:

  1. Trace a simple fish in the middle of a piece of construction paper.  This one is just an oval body with a big triangle tail.
  2. carefully cut out the fish.
  3. Cut a piece of contact paper slightly smaller than the construction paper, but bigger than the fish shaped hole. Peel off the back of the contact paper and stick to the construction paper.
  4. On the sticky side of the fish, decorate with felt pieces, buttons, and add an eye or two.
  5. Hang up in a window.
