This is a great looking box to collect goodies at your next St. Patrick's Day party. It's made around a small box with craft foam. It takes many steps and is less of a classroom project than a home one, but the end result looks awesome.
Materials:
Directions:
Original craft with lots of great pictures available from the 4 Crazy Kings website.
Materials:
- craft foam in rainbow colors
- cotton balls
- card stock
- small box like a jello or crayon box
- glue
- ruler
- clothespins
- scissors
- box cutter
Directions:
- Craft foam comes in sheets. Cut to 1/4 inch wide strips about 8-10 inches long.
- Cut a small rectangle from card stock. Cover with glue and line up the craft foam strips in rainbow order. Put a generous amount of glue on top and add a few cotton balls. It's maybe easier if you do both ends at the same time. Allow to dry.
- Take a small box like for jello. Trace the sides on green craft foam, cut out and glue to the box. Allow to dry.
- Put glue on the back of the card stock behind the clouds and attach to the sides of the box. Attach clothespins to hold in place. Allow to dry.
- If desired, add shamrock stickers or dazzles.
